- Multiuser Gateway (Bridge) from OS/2 PC to SCO System
-
- REMOTE-OS is a multi-user software extension to IBM's multitasking OS/2 Ver.
- 2.0 (and earlier versions). The REMOTE-OS workstations can be any type of
- personal computer running DOS (IBM PS/2, IBM PS/1, IBM PC/AT, IBM PC/XT, IBM
- compatibles, and Macintosh) and/or any type of ASCII terminal (VT220, 327X
- mainframe terminal), and/or AIX. Each REMOTE-OS/2 Host PC can concurrently
- support up to 32 of these workstations, mix and matched by terminal type
-
- ANYTOANY Bridge is an OS/2 product designed to provide access to a UNIX, XENIX,
- or AIX System from a REMOTE-OS/2 Host PC. ANYTOANY Bridge provides the ability
- for the REMOTE-OS workstations to ``pass-through'' to a UNIX-based System via
- an RS-232 local or remote connection. since each REMOTE-OS workstation can
- concurrently execute up to 8 OS/2 sessions, the user can ``hot-key'' between
- the applications on its ANYTOANY bridge-connected UNIX System, the REMOTE-OS/2
- Host PC, and any other remote system, if the appropriate gateway is installed
- on the OS/2 Host PC
-
- ANYTOANY Bridge supports the widely used RS-232 Protocol.
-
- The number of open ports on the REMOTE-OS Host PC and/or the UNIX PC is the
- only limitation to the number of users who can benefit from REMOTE-OS and
- ANYTOANY Bridge.
